Anniversaries

I have a niece who celebrates her wedding anniversary in May. My son and daughter-in-law celebrate their wedding anniversary in June. I also have some demo sisters who have SU! anniversaries in May and June. Below are the cards made for those occasions!
This came together so quickly, but packs such a punch, I think. Black base and  It's My Party DSP. Used the Curvy Corner Trio Punch (I'm sorry to see that go). And the SAB set Botanicals for You.
This card uses my new fave technique, the drapery fold. I used Crushed Curry base, the English Garden DSP and some long retired Crushed Curry ribbon. The verse is from Cottage Greetings. (glad it's staying).
This card uses Wisteria Wonder for the base, Elegant Eggplant for the next layer. The flowers are from the 'extra' stamp set that came along with the April Paper Pumpkin. The sentiment is from Birthday Blooms, even though this for an SU! anniversary.
This card also uses Wisteria Wonder (behind the cut out heart) and Elegant Eggplant. You can't see in the pic, but the Eggplant flowers are covered with Wink of Stella. Really nice IRL.
This is the last anniversary card. The base is Chocolate Chip, the next layer is Pool Party embossed with the Happy Heart TIEF. The ribbon and the the embossed rose are from my stash, as is the sentiment.

Well, thanks for stopping by today. I will probably be MIA again for awhile. Will be leaving soon to visit my newest little blessings soon. Until the next time....HAPPY STAMPING!

Birthdays

These are the birthday cards that I've made for birthdays in May and June. Since I'm not sure when we will be heading to Tucson, I wanted to be ahead of the game. July is also a 'busy' birthday month, but fortunately they are due to go in the mail before I leave for Hawaii.
This card uses the Timeless Elegance DSP, Versamark and Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder.
This card is an exact CASE of a swap received at convention last July. Uses Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set and Punch, Large Dots Embossing Folder, Watermelon Wonder Lace.
This card is another exact CASE. Also using the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set and Punch, Lots of Dots Embossing Folder and the Fringe Scissors.
This card is a CASE of one I received from my BFF. It's the Birthday Blossoms DSP, Pink Pirouette and Soft Sky card stock. It's called a collar card or peek-a-boo card. I just love it! The tag if from Tag It.
I didn't use any sentiment on the outside, because I wanted the DSP to shine. The base is Night of Navy, the next layer is Crumb Cake and then the English Garden DSP.
This uses the English Garden DSP for the drapery fold. The ribbon is long retired in Melon Mambo. The card base is Pink Pirouette. The verse is from Birthday Blossoms.
This card has a Basic Black base, Hardwood layer (embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder for more texture. The stamp set is Wetlands and the other color is Lost Lagoon.
This is another exact CASE of a convention swap. Love getting ideas from other demos and their take on certain stamp sets and DSP.
This card uses a tecnique wherein you stamp and emboss the image in white on black card stock, then color after it's heat set. This particular one was colored with the retired Blendabilities. (sure wish they'd bring alcohol inks back!) The sentiment is stamped with white Staz-on.

That's all the birthdays for May and June. Whew! Thanks for stopping by today. Come back soon. Until then...HAPPY STAMPING!

So Blessed

I have been so blessed, but never as much as this last week. I became Great Gramma again to two beautiful babies.
This is Miss Holley Rose. She was born on April 24. She weighed in at 7lbs 11oz and was 20inches. She is home and doing well. She is the little sister of our Preemie from last year.
This is the precious preemie. Doing great at 13 months old!!!!!!!

This is Mr. Camren Jarrett. He was born yesterday. He weighed in at 6lbs 8oz and was 19.5 inches long. He and Mommy are still in the hospital, but should find out today how soon they can go home!

I can't wait to get to hold them!! They are so precious!!!
