Congrats, Diane!

This card is for my downline, Diane who is celebrating her 9th Stampin' Up! anniversary on Saturday. I used the Botanicals for You stamp set. The inside uses the Party Pop Up Thinlits. The card base is Lost Lagoon with a white panel using all the  2014-2016 In Colors. The inside card is Mossy Meadow. I hope that she likes it.

Thanks for stopping by today. Until next time...HAPPY STAMPING!

Some Birthday Cards

Here are a couple of birthday cards that I sent out for the month of February.
This card was pretty simple. I used the Timeless Elegance DSP and colored in one of the roses with my Blendabilities (yep...I kept mine). Then used my Wink of Stella to add some 'shimmer' to the rose. (none of the bling really shows up in this pic, sorry). The card base is Wisteria Wonder, then a layer of Basic Black, then the DSP. I then used the stamp from the host set Happy Birthday Everyone for the sentiment. I cut 2 butterflies out of Wisteria Wonder with the Butterflies Thinlits and applied basic rhinestones to the bodies for some more bling.
This card was made for a friend of min who loves anything purple and bears. I used the Bear Hugs stamp set and Framelits. The base is Blackberry Bliss. The white panel is punched with the Curvy Corner Trio punch. The clouds were stamped in Soft Sky using the a stamp from Sprinkles of Life (the RMHC stamp set).
This card was made for my step daughter. She, too likes purple (think everyone who is born in Feb. likes the color purple). I used the Happy Birthday Everyone set again for the sentiment and used the Confetti TIEF. Once it was embossed I used sponges and ink to color the confetti. I used Blackberry Bliss and Melon Mambo.

Thanks for stopping by today. Stop by again to see more of what I've been up to. Until then....HAPPY STAMPING.

WOW! I can't believe that it's been so long since I blogged. But, I haven't been stamping much, either. Several reasons for that. One, I seem to have lost some of my mojo and I am working on getting it back.

Second, I got a BIG surprise for my birthday. My kids (daughter, son-in-law, grandson, son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter all came to spend my birthday with me! It was quite a surprise!!! Hubby knew they were coming, but I had no idea until they showed up. They spent a week and we had (at least I did) a great time! The boys all built a sled run at the end of the front yard and we enjoyed running down it on our saucers!

Then, last week we lost one of our fur babies. She was 14 years old and had quite a life. But, it was her time and we miss her. At least she's not suffering any more.

With all that said, I'm hoping this post is the beginning of my blogging on a regular basis again. Here's a card I made using the October (I think) Paper Pumpkin kit. It was for a neighbor who hasn't been feeling too well. Hope she enjoyed it and that she's feeling better. I also used the Sassy Salutations set for the verse.
Thanks for stopping by today and not giving up on me. Stop back in the next few days to see cards I made for February occasions (mostly birthdays). Until then.....HAPPY STAMPING!
