Wood You Be Mine?

Over the next 6 days I will be posting projects featuring new Occasions and Sale-a-Bration products. Because I live in the 'sticks', this is my first offering. I won this set watching the live stream of the Catalog Kickoff. I thought it was so apropos since hubby is always out 'clearing' the property and cutting/stacking firewood to get us through the winter.

This card uses the Wood You Be Mine stamp set (pg. 7 of the Occasions catalog). But, it also uses the Adventure Bound Designer Series Paper Pack (pg. 40 of the Occasions catalog) and the Hardwood stamp set (pg.175 of the Annual Catalog). The card base is Early Espresso, the Hardwood layer is Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla. The Adventure Bound piece is cut with the Banners Framelits, as is the Very Vanilla piece with the sentiment stamped in Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler. The Lumberjack is popped up with dimensionals. Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to leave a comment to be entered in the drawing (see yesterday's post for details). Until tomorrow...Happy Stamping!

Sneak Peeks Are Coming

I hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday! Starting tomorrow, I will be posting 'sneak peeks' of product from the Occasions Catalog as well as the Sale-a-Bration brochure. During these 6 days, if you comment on every post, your name will go into a drawing to win a gift from me. I will let you know what the gift is on the day the catalogs go live (January 6).  So, be sure to stop by each of the next 6 days and leave a comment on the projects that I post. Good Luck to everyone. Until next time...Happy Stamping!

Let it Snow

It snowed here in N. Idaho most of the day yesterday! I checked this morning and it looks like we got a little over 5 inches. Guess Hubby will get to use his new snow blower after all! Yay!! Isn't it beautiful? It's going to stick around awhile, too as the temps this coming week are only going to be in the low 20s or high teens!
This is looking down the drive way.

This is the side yard.
Thanks for stopping by today. Until next time...Happy Stamping!

Check out my FOR SALE page. I am having a sale on all my items.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Today I wanted to share our tree decorated with 'handmade' ornaments. The angel isn't hand made, but the rest of the ornaments are from past SU! ornament kits or are the wooden ornaments that I made this year. Since it was just the 2 of us this year, we put up the small tree and I love it!  I hope everyone has a very MERRY CHRISTMAS or HAPPY HANNUKAH! Thanks for stopping by today. Until next time...Happy Stamping!

Happy Birthday Nicolas

Our middle grandson turned 13 on December 2. How time flies! This is the card that I made for him.
I used the retired stamp set Classic Convertibles and Endless Birthday Wishes. The 'Vette is stamped on Whisper White and colored with Cherry Cobbler Blendies. That layer is adhered to Basic Black, which is inserted into the Silver Foil layer embossed with the Chevron embossing folder. Then it's all adhered to another layer of Basic Black, then onto the Real Red card base. (Whew! that was a lot of layers!).  Thank you for stopping by today.  Until the next time...Happy Stamping!

More Northwoods Items

These ornaments are made with the same wood discs that hubby cut for the snowmen that are in this post. I used StazOn ink to stamp the figures. The wolf is from the retired set Nature's Silhouettes (I also made some with the buck from that set, but neglected to get any pictures). The small deer is from the retired set Joyous Christmas.
These are tag that I made using the Nature's Silhouette set. They are stamped with StazOn onto the retired wood sheets, then adhered to a scallop cut with the retired Scallops #2 die. I hope that you enjoyed a look at North Idaho crafting for Christmas. Stop tomorrow for a look at the birthday card I made my 13 year old grandson. Until then...Happy Stamping!

North Idaho Snowmen

Now that my upline has had her holiday party, I can share the gift I sent for her and my downline.
I made these cute little Snowmen from a tree that hubby cut down earlier this year. The had and scarf are just red felt. The decoration on the hat and scarf are die cut. The eyes and buttons are rhinestones colored black. The nose is cut from the Pennant Punch and then cut down. I hope that they enjoyed receiving them as much as I enjoyed making them. (the other 2 snowmen are for my tree!).
