Halloween Banner

This is my version of the 'Spooky' Banner from the Holiday Catalog. It's made using the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit and the Halloween Banner Simply Created Accessory Kit. I will be holding a class to make these on Sept. 7th. If you'd care to join me, simply go to my website and click on Events to RSVP.

Thanks for stopping by today. Next week I will be showcasing a 'Create' Banner made with the same Build a Banner Simply Created Kit.

Be the Difference

The theme for this year's Annual Stampin' Up!© Convention was 'Be the Difference'. Shelly Gardner, CEO of Stampin' Up! gave a very inspiring speech at our opening session. She said that just sending a card to someone can make a difference that we don't even realize. We all get bills and junk in the mail, but how many of us get a handmade card? I'm challenging you to send a handmade card to someone who's day you might change. Post back here when it's in the mail. At the end of August, I will draw a winner and you get a gift from me for being so generous with your time and talent. (I haven't decided on the gift, yet but when I do, I'll post here).

Our Service Project this year was to package 2000 Birthday Kits to send to the local Children's Hospital. As some of you know, Children's Hospitals are very near and dear to my heart because of my special needs grandson. This picture shows everything that was in the kit. It was a heartwarming experience to know that some child who is stuck in the hospital on their birthday would be able to have a 'party' in the hospital with this kit. Thank You Stampin' Up! for allowing us to be a part of Making a Difference in a child's life!

Check back tomorrow for more Convention highlights and later in the week for pics of some of the swaps that I received this year. And, consider joining my team so that you can go next year. The sign-up special going on right now is great!
Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!

Group Gifts

These are the gifts I made for the rest of the group. On the left is a Tic-Tac holder. I used a bottle cap for the embellishment. On the right is a business card holder (this time made from card stock). I used the new clay and mold to make the rose added to the bow. I hope the ladies liked their gifts.
Thanks for stopping by today. Check back next week for all the convention news and pics! Happy Stamping.

Downline/Group Gifts

These are the gifts I made for Diane, my downline and roomie! Hope she liked them.
On the left is a journal that I covered with DSP. Inside the front cover, I included a print out of the logo used for this year's convention....Be the Difference. In the back is a rag bag that I put together for her to carry her swaps. It was my first attempt and it didn't turn out half bad. The small yellow thing in the front is a business card holder. I found the pattern online somewhere and thought it would be a good gift.

Don't forget to stop by tomorrow to see the gifts that I made for the rest of the group. Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping.

Convention Swaps

Today, I can finally share my convention swaps. These are the card fronts I made to swap with other demonstrators at our annual convention in Salt Lake City, UT.
These are made with the new Wildflower Meadow stamp set and matching Embossing Folder. I made one each in the new In Colors (Baked Brown Sugar, Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana and Crisp Cantaloupe). All together I made 50 of these. 5 each using rhinestones in the flower centers and 5 each with pearls as the centers.
This is the second swap that I came up with. When I first heard the names of the new In Colors, they just reminded me of ice cream, so used the Pennant Punch and the Cupcake Punch along with a sentiment from the Feel Goods Stamp set. The cherries are punched from the glimmer paper.

Thanks for stopping by today. Check back tomorrow for my gift for my downline (who was also my roomie) and for the rest of the girls in the CSLs (my upline's group). Happy Stamping

Stampin' Up!© Convention!

It's almost time for the annual Stampin' Up!© Convention in Salt Lake City. I'm happy to say that I have my swaps completed (only did 75 this year), have my group gifts completed (did 12 of those) and have my roomie gifts completed (only sharing with one person). I am so excited to be leaving a week from today for the convention. I will return on the 21st. I have programmed blog posts for the 18th, 19th and 20th so you can see what I made.

I will try to post what I can from convention, when I can. If things are hoppin' like they say, all of my blogging will happen when I return. I may be able to get a quick FB post on, so be sure to check out my business page for any updates that can be shared. (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Jeri-Cyr-Independent-Stampin-Up-Demonstrator/196974860363109?ref=hl).

Looking forward to a wonderful few days with about 5000 of my closest friends!!!! Now, off to make sure to get everything  packed, so I'm ready to go! Don't forget to check back to see what I made and for any updates I can share.

Happy Stamping!

Single Markers Available

In the 2013-2014 annual catalog, we offer the Stampin' Write Marker New Color Kit (item 130034, page 163) to help you update your Many Marvelous Marker pack. Now, we've sweetened the deal. For a limited time, from June 26 until October 31, you can buy any of the new colors in the pack or on their own! Go ahead, fill in the missing pieces in your collection or buy the whole lot.

I know that I only needed a couple to fill in my missing pieces, so this was perfect for me. I hope you are as thrilled as I am that you can buy just the ones that you need. But...it's only for the new colors (in the above grid), not all the collections.
