Last Saturday I hosted another shoebox swap with my new stampin' friends. This time I asked them to use specific colors. Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry (taken from the Color Coach). Knowing that not all had those colors, I asked them to come close. Here are the results...amazing, I think!
Mary Lou's creation
Hope these provide you with some inspiration and to think of new and different color combos for your creations.
SU! announced a one week sale today. From now until October 28, they have 25 sets on sale for 25% off in honor of their 25th Anniversary. Go here to see the great sets on sale. I have created a Hostess Code (AQXWYF2Y) for you to use when you place your order through my website. To make it more interesting...if you are the first person to place an order for one of the sale stamp sets, your name will be entered for a prize to be awarded after the sale! For instance, if you are the first to order Zoo Babies, your name will be entered. If you are the first to order Heart's a Flutter, you will be entered. If you have any questions, feel free to call or email. Go look at all the great sets, then place your order using the Hostess Code and have lots of fun creating with your sale stamps! Happy Stamping!
This card was created by my friend Mary Lou Nelson. I love the sentiment and that she used the Cloud embossing folder. Great card, Mary Lou! Thanks for participating in my little contest. As the winner, you will receive a Paper Pumpkin Kit from me!
Today, October 5, is World Card Making Day. In honor of that, make a card today and then take a pic and email it to me and your name will be entered into a drawing for some fun prizes. It's also Breast Cancer Awareness month. In honor of that, make your card pink and you'll be entered again! You have until midnight Pacific time to email the picture of your card to me. The winner will be drawn at random and I will post the name on Sunday.
So, grab your pink paper and ink and get to making a card! I hope to see lots of pictures in my inbox today!
Here is my pink card. I also used this for a challenge over at SCS.
I have to deviate from making this blog all about stamping. We just returned from a trip to visit our kids and grandkids. Our youngest grandchild (Alexis) got to have her first S'mores with Gramma & Grampa and I had to share the pic. Thanks for indulging this ole Gramma.
