Today I'd like to share with you the hand made Christmas cards that we received this year. They are all fabulous and we enjoyed everyone of them. The scans didn't do them all justice, but...hopefully, these will inspire you to try making hand made Christmas cards next year. Thanks for stopping by today. Happy and Safe New Year to you all!
I hope this finds everyone ready for the man in the red suit. I am, so took some time to make some yummy cookies to leave out for him. I found this yummy recipe in our local paper and would like to share it with you.
EGGNOG SUGAR COOKIES
Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar 3/4 cup butter, at room temperature 1/2 cup eggnog 1 1/2 tsp vanilla 2 egg yolks Preparation: 1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees 2. Mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl. Set aside 3. In another bowl, mix sugar and butter until creamed. Add eggnog, vanilla and egg yolks, mix until smooth. 4. Add dry ingredients to creamed ingredients and mix until moist. 5. Place rounded teaspoons of cookie dough onto baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle with nutmeg. 6. Bake for 20 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned. 7. Remove from baking sheet and let cool. Makes 3 dozen. Enjoy and Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night. I'll be blogging again in the New Year.
Hello everyone. I just want to let you all know that there is an organization who is putting together art kits for the children of Newtown, Ct. If anyone would like to help Amber do this, click on the icon on the right sidebar and do what you can. Art supplies, cards, whatever. Please lets all come together for the children! Thanks!
Hi Everyone! It's not often that I 'borrow' pics from other blogs, but this card was so simply stunning that I had to share it! I was made by Beth Beard from Illinois. She is part of Mary Fish's group the Stampin' Pretty Pals. I just love the simplicity of it, yet it is so stunning!
I want to share an idea from the talented people at Stampin' Up! If you were lucky enough to get one of the Ornament Elegance Kits before they sold out, this is a great idea for using the ornaments.
If you got the kit, please email me your creations with it, and I will post them on my blog. I have a few ornaments that I made without the kit and I will be posting them in the next day or so. Thanks for stopping by today!
