March CYRious Stamping Meeting

Last night was the March meeting of the CYRious Stampers. As always, it was a fun time. Our swaps this month were to be St. Patrick's Day cards using the Inlaid Embossing technique. As usual, the cards were great!
This was Pat's card. She used the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, Tote-ally Tess, Cheers to You and Teeny Tiny Wishes for her card. Her Inlaid Embossing is on the heart with the shamrock. Great Job, Pat!

This was Diane's card. She also used Teeny Tiny Wishes, and inlaid her shamrocks in the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder. She added some of the Basic Pearls for added interest. Good Job, Diane!

This was my card...Simple Simon. I used the Full Heart Punch to make the shamrock that I Inlaid into the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I then used one of the buttons from the Springtime Vintage Designer Buttons in the Occasions Mini. I used the Afterthoughts Hostess Stamp Set for the wording.

This is the project that Diane brought to the meeting. She shared the new Distressing Essentials Kit. We used the Navy ink from the kit, the Newsprint Designer Series Paper and the stamp set Nature's Nest. We also used the sanding block and emery boards from the kit. I don't personally have this kit and so it was great to be able to try it out. Thanks Diane for a great project!

This isn't the greatest picture, but I taught the group how to make Valita's great roses out of the 2-step Owl Punch. The colors are Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Chocolate Chip and Pear Pizzaz. (they were pieces I had leftover from my last workshop, so it worked out well). The leaves were punched from the Blossom Petal Punch. Birthday Wishes is from Occasional Quotes (a level III Hostess Set).

As you can see, even though our group is small, we have a lot of fun at our meetings and discuss many business ideas and try to help each other to grow our business. If you'd like to join our team before the end of Sale-a-Bration (and receive 15% off the Starter Kit along with the FREE $50 additional bundle), just contact one of us prior to March 31st. We'd love to have you join our team!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Some Personal Stuff

First I want to apologize for not posting for awhile...didn't realize it had been a month. That is mostly because I was out of town getting things started for our new home in Idaho. They say they will probably break ground in June. This is an exciting (and scary) time for us! I wanted to share a couple of pictures of what our property looked like when we were there in February.
As you can see, this is why they probably won't be breaking ground until June.
